Description
Ocean Commotion is finally back in person! Join us Tuesday, October 25, at LSU’s Pete Maravich Assembly Center, where you and your students will browse through over 60 live exhibits featuring ocean/coastal-related topics. Each school must coordinate and complete one registration for each session (AM is 5th-8th grade, PM is K-4th). This will be coordinated by one contact teacher for the morning and one for the afternoon session. Schools must come with sufficient chaperones to control and accompany students (1 chaperone to 10 students is recommended). Louisiana Sea Grant
Louisiana Sea Grant is involved in the development and support of several educational projects. These projects strive to engage individuals with cultural, environmental, and historical aspects of Louisiana. Participants have the opportunity to experience the Louisiana wetlands through hands-on, interactive activities. The projects showcase the importance of the wetlands for Louisiana and understand the need to conserve them.
