GNO STEM has partnered with the National Energy Education Development (NEED) Project for this workshop opportunity! NEED materials and training programs provide comprehensive, objective information about the scientific concepts of energy and the sources of energy – their use and their impact on the environment, the economy and society. Teachers will receive a NEED Science of Energy kit, NGSS/LSSS aligned curriculum, a $120 stipend, and breakfast and lunch will be provided. Greater New Orleans STEM Initiative helps teachers create learning environments where students discover how to discuss and communicate ideas, listen and work with others, and think like scientists.
