Description
I would love to collaborate and or present on financial literacy. I have been in banking for nearly 30 years and served as the Training Manager for Fidelity Bank for 8 years. My degree is in Instructional design. We could approach this opportunity as a field trip to the bank, in classroom instruction, virtual or we can chat about a new idea for presenting. I have engaged elementary and high school students in various financial literacy programs.
Our Financial Literacy Program: The course materials are provided by the FDIC and are part of their Money Smart Financial Literacy curricula. They are designed to meet the needs of students in four grade groupings (PreK–2nd, 3rd–5th, 6th–8th, and 9th–12th). Each course provides age appropriate content designed to help each student acquire the skills necessary to manage their financial health for a life time By introducing students to financial education at an early age, we will collaborate with schools to offer financial education and establish school-based savings programs. These programs help students learn how to more effectively manage their money, encourage age developmental savings habits at a formative age, and promote economic inclusion for entire families Please contact me at 504 569-3418 to learn more.
