FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHERS Monday, June 26 - Friday, June 30, 2023 | 8:30 AM - 4 PM University of New Orleans & LIGO, Livingston, LA Join LIGO (Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory) instructors as we delve into activities focused on light, color, sound and waves. This week-long workshop will include 2 days at UNO and 3 days at the Livingston facility. Plus, participating teachers will be eligible to receive funded field trip opportunities for their students to visit the LIGO facility in the 2023-24 school year. Please note: As per LIGO policies, teachers must either provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination OR have a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the workshop. Also note: This is an in-person version of the 2021 virtual teacher workshop, so many of the activities will overlap. Stipends are available. Spaces is limited! REGISTER at http://gnostem.org/
