Description
Come out and enjoy a fun-filled day of computer science learning that will help you bring the principles of Computer Science into your K through 5th grade classrooms aligned with standards.
You will only need to bring a laptop computer and its charger (it is a 6+ hour workshop), and we will supply the rest: curriculum guide, swag, light breakfast, and lunch. This is all at no cost to you as the participant for your school. Please note that phones and tablets are not sufficient for participation.
Capital Area STEM Network Center
The Capital Area Regional STEM Center, a member of the Louisiana Regional STEM Network, was funded to improve access to STEM education, participation, and advancement from Pre-K to Grey. We support in-school and after-school programs, local STEM outreach organizations, STEM community events, and workforce development efforts in high-demand STEM fields.
