(FREE) Virtual - Intro to Coding Workshop

Operation Spark’s mission to provide opportunities for upward mobility through skills training and job placement in high-wage tech careers is the catalyst for our work to address wealth inequity in New Orleans. Operation Spark offers a rapid industry workforce training program consisting of three courses with increasing levels of demand: Prep, Bootcamp, and Immersion. We offer a free intro to coding workshop called Prep, which includes 30 hours of live instruction. This session runs monthly for 10 days, 3 hours/day. This is an opportunity for people to try their hand at coding before committing to a full-time training schedule. Students who pass the Prep assessment earn a Level 1 Industry-Based Credential (IBC) in the Fundamentals of JavaScript, Functional Programming, and Web Development and can join our Bootcamp to High Wage Tech Career.
