Description
The STEM Library Lab Service Learning Program fully funds K-12 community service learning projects throughout the state of Louisiana. Join us and learn how your school can benefit from projects funded by Service Learning Grants.
The Joe W. and Dorothy Dorsett Brown Foundation sponsors a Service Learning Kickoff Event every September, and representatives from schools receiving a service learning award are presented with award checks. Past award recipients showcase their service learning projects and service partner organizations, such as the National WWII Museum, The Green Project, and the Wetland Watchers, offer hands-on activities and educational service opportunities for participating students.

STEM Library Lab fosters high-quality active learning by providing teachers and students with access to equipment and support to drive academic success.
We run a variety of programs, services, and events, geared at teachers, to ensure they have the tools they need to lead productive classrooms.
