Campers explore the six simple machines – the inclined plane, lever, pulley, screw, wedge, and wheel and axle. Hands-on activities will highlight each simple machine and how they are used in everyday products and devices in our daily lives. The competition is on! At the end of the camp week, campers will be challenged to put what they’ve learned to use and design their own machine that employs all six types of simple machines.
