Description
Learning Tour:
This is a complete walking tour of our 7-acre farm. You will learn about our sustainable farming practices, our youth leadership programs and our approach to education, and get a taste of our unique organizational culture. We are happy to modify our tours to focus on the interests of your group.
Learning Tour + Agricultural Task:
2 hours, college students and adults
This option includes the same tour described along with 45 minutes of agricultural work on our sustainable urban farm.
Grow Dat Youth Farm
The mission of Grow Dat Youth Farm is to nurture a diverse group of young leaders through the meaningful work of growing food. At Grow Dat, people from different backgrounds come together to create a more just and sustainable food system. On our farm, we work collaboratively to grow food; educate and inspire youth and adults; and build power to create personal, social, and environmental change.
