Description
Legendary GRAMMY-nominated and LATIN GRAMMY-nominated Cuban artist Cimafunk leads this workshop. In this workshop for youth ages 14 - 24, participants will learn about the musical bridge between New Orleans and Havana, Cuba, while also learning Afro-Cuban rhythms, the intersection of funk and Cuban rhythms, and more! This masterclass is free, but advance registration is required.
Offer students both a road map and focus to allow them to pursue their passion. Our goal is to nurture their talent in a way that opens up the possibilities, and also provide a platform for advancement.
