Situated in the heart of City Park, LOOP NOLA offers an exceptional field trip destination to explore the city's wetland wildlife.
Our Wetlands based science lessons are cerated to match up to the Louisiana State Science Standards. All activities will reinforce what they are learning in the classroom through hands-on lessons and activities. Our expert staff can also customize the experiences to align with your specific class objectives and STEM curriculum.
Topics Include: Invasive Species, Habitats and Biodiversity, Energy Transfer in the Wetlands, Symbiosis, Adaptations, Population Ecology, Sustainability, and Coastal Protection and Awareness

LOOP NOLA's programs are designed for participants of all levels, guided by our friendly and knowledgeable staff to ensure a fun, safe, and educational experience. Whether hiking in Couturie Forest, paddling around Scout Island, or promoting team building through our challenge course, LOOP’s team is dedicated to sharing the outdoors with individuals of all ages and abilities. Choose between full-day or half-day experiences and take advantage of our dedicated picnic area for lunch.
