Description
On January 20, 2025, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday will mark the 30th anniversary as a National Day of Service. This day was established to honor the life and legacy of Dr. King, and to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities.
High Voltage will celebrate MLK Day of Service on January 17, 2025 by partnering with Eskew Dimple Ripple, Architecture Firm to redesign the playground at Esperanza Academy in New Orleans. Vounteers are needed to assist with Powerwashing of the Playground and Painting.
High Voltage is a Louisiana non-profit providing intergenerational programs to support our community’s youth and senior citizens. We provide educational, recreational and arts programs to help youth reach their potential, build character, and function as contributing members of society, as well as keep seniors active and learning through health and wellness events.
