The Tulane University Center for K-12 Education will offer 6 teacher professional training sessions in the Engineering is Elementary (EiE) curriculum for grades K-5 on June 23-25, 2025.

These training sessions are designed to equip educators with the knowledge and strategies needed to implement high-quality, standards-aligned engineering and STEM curricula in their classrooms. Through engaging activities and hands-on experiences, participants will gain valuable insights into fostering a generation of problem solvers and engineers.

These workshops are presented in partnership with the Tulane University Center for K-12 STEM Education, LASTEM Region 8 Center (SCILS), and Louisiana Tech University (LA Tech).

For each 3-hour workshop session that you participate in, you will receive a grade-level kit AND a $150 stipend. You can enroll in one or all the grade level trainings offered below. Lunch will be provided each day.

Tulane Center for K-12 STEM Education
The Tulane Center for K-12 STEM Education provides hands-on learning opportunities for underserved youth to engage them in learning, experimenting, and interacting with the latest technologies to build 21st century skills. The Center also provides professional development trainings to help teachers at targeted low-income K-8 schools incorporate Louisiana’s new science standards into their classrooms.
