Hope Community Resource Center
The HOPE Community Resource Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization partnered with parents, youth, and the community committed to nurturing, supporting, educating, and strengthening families through quality youth and family development, educational programs and tutoring. The Center serves Greater New Orleans, Algiers, New Orleans East, and Gentilly families and facilitates child and family issues with an emphasis on community collaboration and academic achievement. At Hope Community Resource Center, we are dedicated to the empowerment of youth and families through partnerships with family and community to facilitate learning which fosters social and academic success, producing lifelong learners, responsible citizens and positively impacting our future generation. Since 2010, HCRC has created several programs and cultural events. We are trusted in the community. For the past decade, we have hosted Parent Involvement classes and trainings at the Algiers Regional Library and Norman Mayer Library, free of charge, to the parents in our after school tutoring program. We have also provided Tutoring and Mentoring programs, Summer Reading programs and camps.
