Description

Discover how STEM tools borrowed from our Equipment Lending Co-Op can transform your middle and high school science lessons at our Communities of Practice series, happening on the First Thursday of every month.

This CoP will demonstrate how rock formations and layers support changes in landforms over time, how ice, water, wind, and how living things affect the physical environment. Finally, we will create and compare multiple solutions to reduce the impacts of natural Earth processes on humans.Teachers will learn how to setup a stream table and we will cover several lessons that will demonstrate erosion, weathering, sediment creation, deposition -- plus how we know which period of earth’s history that dinosaurs existed!

Our STEM Library Lab Librarian, Szabi, will guide you through hands-on applications, helping you integrate these tools into your curriculum for science fairs, independent projects, and advanced classroom demonstrations. Sign up now
