Description
In this hands-on introduction to storytelling for the screen, students will learn the building blocks of scriptwriting—from generating ideas and crafting characters to understanding structure, dialogue, and scene writing.
Through fun activities, film clips, and collaborative exercises, middle and high school students will gain the confidence to put their stories on the page while learning the basics of industry-standard script format. By the end of the workshop, students will walk away with their own short script idea and the tools to keep writing.
This workshop is for middle and high school students.
