Description

Welcome to the FREE COOL Cooperative Workshop: DIRECTING 101!

This beginner-friendly class introduces students to the art of bringing a story to life on screen. Middle and high school students will explore the director’s role—shaping performances, visualizing scenes, and working with a creative team. Through interactive exercises, film examples, and hands-on practice, students will learn the basics of shot composition, blocking, and leadership on set. By the end of the workshop, they’ll gain the confidence to step into the director’s chair and understand how to guide a project from script to screen.

This workshop is for middle and high school students.
