Description

Fridays evenings are no longer dull and boring, join our group of diverse sewing teens who are exploring the realm of fashion and design with an expert sewist! This is an open, safe space to explore creativity through sewing. This class is for intermediate sewists with a working knowledge of sewing machines and patterns Please be sure to sign up for the class ahead of time so we can notify our instructors! If you are a teen who would like to learn how to sew please sign up for one of our Teen Sewing Fundamentals classes. Teen's Intermediate Sewing Club is led by Lorenza De la Puente, a New Orleans native who graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2019 with a Bachelor's in Fashion Design. She has spent the last two years working on her Master's in fashion design at Politecnico di Milano. Lorenza loves to crochet, knit and sew, and she is passionate about teaching and working with children.
