RIDE New Orleans is a transit advocacy organization. RIDE's mission is to enhance the quality of life in the New Orleans region by promoting safe, convenient, and affordable public transit choices. Our organization envisions a region in which taking transit enables full access to jobs, education, health care, and other needs that ensure an equitable, thriving community. Sign Up for an Opportunity Pass: Right now, youth ages 16-24 (born between 1999-2009) can sign up for an Opportunity Pass to get unlimited, free rides on Regional Transit Authority (RTA) buses, streetcars, and ferries from the time of sign up until the end of August 2025! Sign up at any New Orleans Public Library location during library hours!
