The Brain Food Truck is a mobile resource bringing hands-on, minds-on STEM activities to the Northshore region. With a focus on 3rd - 8th grade students in underserved and rural communities, we support in-school and out-of-school youth-serving programs by providing them with easy to use activities that are student centered, standards aligned and fun. Activities can be modified for younger and older students. Check out our Menu of over 30 activities for your program. Select the activities you would like to order. Pick up the Brain Food Truck 6x12 cargo trailer filled with activity totes you ordered supplied with everything your students will need to enjoy the activities. Use the activities with your youth groups or classes and bring it back when you're done! Activities range from no cost to nominal costs for replacing consumables. Everything is ready to go for you to use. No previous knowledge is required to facilitate the activities. We provide a facilitator's guide for adults to set up the activities for youth to use and enjoy. We provide "recipe cards" with instructions for youth to use to guide them through the activities that promotes reading and team work. The Brain Food Truck is a signature project of the Northshore STEM Coalition, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
