In Livingston Parish, we strive to give students every opportunity to experience and access science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) with the goal of promoting educational and career opportunities. To further our goal of STEAM education in the district, we are hosting our 2023 STEAM Expo on April 29, 2023 for all of the surrounding community from 10 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The STEAM Expo will be held at the Denham Springs High School STEM and Robotics Center. Last year's expo reached approximately 1,000 community members with over 40 participants/vendors. We hope to surpass that number in 2023! The STEAM Expo provides engaging activities to increase student and parent awareness and interest in STEAM education, while attracting future employees of STEAM-related careers. This event also provides opportunities to support school and community initiatives related to STEAM.
