Description
The museum celebrates the industries and traditions that collectively comprise our unique culture! Field trip activities are available for grades K-8 and include a scavenger hunt through the exhibits and an NGSS aligned interactive lesson to promote student engagement and learning. The museum can accommodate up to 70 students for 1 field trip and field trips are booked in 2 hour blocks.
The Wetlands Discovery Center is revolutionizing how we think, teach and learn about Louisiana’s disappearing coast. Our programs focus on developing adaptation skills in our young people. By doing so, we ensure the survival of our culture along with our workforce.
