Description
Teachers will engage with online and hands-on activities as they discover the critical role that barrier islands play in protecting and preserving our coastal ecosystems. Teachers will receive a classroom kit supporting 5 hands-on investigations for up to 30 students as well as resources to include full-color printed teacher/student guides, the online interactive virtual tour, and instructional videos. Upon completion of the 1-day workshop, teachers will receive a $120 stipend. Lunch will be provided on the day of the event. Space is limited, so sign up now!
