Description
FREE Backpacks & School Supplies for students in grades K-6! NOLA Back 2 School Fest provides thousands of school children in grades K-6 from throughout the New Orleans area with a backpack filled with essential school supplies – tools children need to learn and achieve academic success in the upcoming school year. Students must be pre-registered to receive the FREE school supplies and backpack. To ensure the safety and health of students, parents, and volunteers, this year families will drive through or walk-up to collect the FREE school supplies and backpack outside the Xavier University Center. Additional details will be provided with your pre-registration confirmation. Our presenting sponsor Shell, along with Xavier University and GNO STEM look forward to seeing you on Saturday, July 30, 2022.
Greater New Orleans STEM Initiative helps teachers create learning environments where students discover how to discuss and communicate ideas, listen and work with others, and think like scientists. We help students develop foundational STEM skills that fuel their curiosity, interest and aptitude in science, technology, engineering and math. GNO STEM provides quality teacher professional development, hands-on STEM camps for students and teachers, and organized successful community STEM events that draw thousands of K-12 students, families, and teachers.
